Deadline Extended

Club officials pushed the nickname contest deadline out a week because some of the principals were out of town. They also added the option of an expensive wrist watch as an alternative prize to the all-expenses paid trip to Los Angeles for the team's opener. Futhermore, all contestants were to receive a pair of tickets to a home game.
