The Seals conducted their first workout at the Cow Palace. Everyone from WHL president Al Leader to Seals coach Max McNab were pleased with the surface and even better, according to center Duke Edmundson, “it didn't crack.” Some of the players were more guarded in their opinions, saying it would take some more time before they could render a solid judgment.
