Twice the Flyers

The Edmonton Flyers beat the Seals for the second time in three days, scoring four second-period goals in a 5-1 win in Edmonton.

Early Report Card

Paul Lippman of the Examiner took a look at the Seals' prospects and liked what he saw. He argued that Coley Hall had done a fine job amassing talent, but that they needed some playing time together to reach their potential as a team. Their one flaw, as he saw it, was a shortage of good zone-clearing defensemen.
